Electris
Electris is a subsidiary of the Enovos group, dedicated to the development of unregulated energy activities in Luxembourg. Positioned on innovative services such as the management of charging for electric vehicles, the company operates in a rapidly growing environment, requiring agility and speed of execution to launch new offerings.
The challenge
The existing SAP model, designed for regulated activities, proved too rigid and costly to support these new activities. Electris needed to implement a more flexible platform, capable of managing specific use cases such as the calculation of electric charges, while integrating with existing systems and supporting rapid growth.
The solution implemented
Electris has chosen Odoo as an agile platform to support the development of its new activities. The deployment was carried out through successive projects, on short cycles of 3 to 6 months, allowing for rapid iteration and adaptation of the solution to business needs. The objective was to create a flexible foundation capable of integrating with SAP and existing tools while accelerating the launch of new offerings.
The solution has been designed to integrate data from charging stations and automate the calculation of costs, particularly in scenarios involving employers and employees. Specific integrations have also been established with the Enovos mobile application and SAP systems..
Inventory
Real-time inventory management to ensure traceability, optimise levels, and streamline logistics operations.
Purchase
Management of purchases to optimise supplies, control costs, and secure supplier relationships.
Customer care
Management of customer requests to improve tracking, enhance service quality, and ensure an optimal customer experience.
The results and benefits
The implementation of Odoo has enabled Electris to gain agility and significantly reduce the time-to-market for its new offerings. The company can now quickly launch new services, while relying on a flexible and scalable platform.
The integration with existing systems has allowed for the preservation of the overall coherence of the information system while providing the necessary flexibility for new activities. The data is better structured, facilitating the management and automation of key processes.
Finally, this transformation enables Electris to support its growth with tools tailored to its challenges. The company now has a platform capable of keeping pace with the rapid evolution of the energy market and the new uses related to electric mobility.
